Donna Darlene Cole

Our beloved, Donna “Dee Dee” Darlene Cole, passed away peacefully in the company of her mother on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Grover C. Dils Medical Center in Caliente, NV. She was 69 years old. Donna was born on May 25, 1953 at Lincoln County Hospital in Caliente to Darlene Pete Harrington. The eldest of nine children, she was her Great-Grandmother Queen’s first great-grandchild. In the fall of 1981, she married LeGrand “Gandy” Earl Cole in Caliente. They resided in Elgin for many years up until his passing in March of 2000. Donna then moved back into town with her mother. Together they spent the past 22 years looking after one another. In her later years, Donna enjoyed listening to her country westerns on her portable CD player and coloring beautiful pictures to gift her loved ones with when they would come to visit. Donna was a dedicated daughter, loving sister and devoted friend. Donna is lovingly survived by her mother, Darlene Pete Harrington; brothers Floyd “Poncho” (Anna) Harrington, Leo (Debra) Harrington; sisters, Carla Jo Harrington, Patricia Michelle Harrington and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband LeGrand Earl Cole; brothers, Lloyd Harrington, Frank Harrington; sisters, Queen Marie Harrington and Sherry Ann Postawa. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27th at the new fire station in Caliente, NV. A late luncheon will be provided afterwards. Family viewing will be from 12-2 at the Mortuary in Caliente.
