Verla Jane (Lister) Bassett

Verla Jane Bassett, age 86, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 at her residence after a lengthy battle with COPD.

Verla was born July 30, 1937 in Rexburg, ID, the daughter of Eugene N. Lister and Orah A. Mock.  She was the 2nd of 7 children.

Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Bassett of Casper WY, Craig (Amanda) Bassett of Grand Junction, CO, Erik Bassett of Buena Vista, CO and one daughter Anna (Bassett) Merrill of Hagerman, ID; two grandsons Jonathan and Christopher Bassett both of Arvada, CO. One grandson Dillon Jacobs of Denver, CO. Five great-grandchildren.

Verla was proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Out of respect for her wishes no services will be provided.  She will be greatly missed.
