Marinell "Marty" (Cooper) Dufour

Marinell “Marty” Dufour was born May 25, 1922 to Oscar and Nellie Mae Cooper. She was a member of the LDS Church, a member of the Eastern Star and the Olsen Senior Center. She loved her family, friends and playing Bingo.
Marty married Richard “Dick” Dufour in June of 1962 in Las Vegas, NV. She was a Dispatcher and jailer for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office for many years. During this time Dick and Marty ran “Dufour Fix It” then changed the name to “Grampas” for their grandkids. When Dick passed away Marty moved to Caliente, NV to be next to family.
She joined our Heavenly Father on August 25, 2013 along with husband and other family members.
She is survived by 3 sons; Phil Neill, Stew Neill and Richard Dufour. Two daughters, Barbara Bierl and Beverly Bywater, along with many grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandkids.
A funeral will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Caliente LDS Ward Church. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment will be in the Caliente Cemetery under the direction of the Southern Nevada Mortuary.
