Juanita (Nita) Ann Lamb

Juanita (Nita) Ann Lamb age 51 passed away on June 15th 2019. Nita was born Sept 6, 1967 in Payson, Utah. She lived a short while in Eureka, Utah and a short while in Pioche, Nevada.  Her family then moved to Alamo, Nevada where Nita attended school until she graduated in 1985. After High School my mom went off to Cedar City Utah to go to Evans Beauty School. She always had a strong passion for doing hair, and her baby sister was always her experiment head. My mom was so proud of doing hair for 34 years, 16 of them here at The Krimper.

Nita moved to Juneau, Alaska where she married Monte C Lamb Jr. Together, they had Amanda and Cody Lamb. We were her whole world. There was not anything she wouldn’t have done for us. She worked hard and gave us both a loving home and a very good life. She was so very proud of everything that we did, whether it was the big or little stuff. She loved being a Mom and often would say she was glad that we had chosen her. We are her Angels from God. My Mom moved us to Pioche in 2003 to raise us. This would be where she spent the rest of her beautiful life.

Nita leaves behind 2 children; Cody Lamb and Amanda (Steven Cory) Chouquer, 2 grandsons; Steven Riley and Dextri Racynn Chouquer; her Mom Ann C Looney, her Dad Doug (Debbie) Looney, 2 siblings; Guy Looney, Launa (Rick) Chouquer, and several nieces and nephews. Nita is preceded in death by 2 grandparents William / Leona Cheeney, Relmond / Jaquelin Looney, 6 uncles, 3 aunts and 4 cousins.

Honorary Paul bearers will be Cody Alan Lamb, Steven Riley Chouquer, Dextri Racynn Chouquer, Steven Cory Chouquer, Douglas Ray Looney, Lawrence Frank (Guy) Looney, Dylan Scott Phillips, Frank Richard Cheeney, Shane Ray Cheeney and Monte Carroll Lamb Jr.

Memorial services will be held June 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at the Pioche Town Hall. Interment will be held at a later time with the family. Online condolences can be made at www.snmortuary.com.
